Author Lisa Michelle Middleton’s early adulthood was an arduous journey between the Philippines, Hawaii, and Texas, where, despite excellence in academia, unfortunate circumstances left her unable to attend college immediately out of high school.
“A Poet’s Diary” is a collection that covers her struggles and triumphs during these uncertain times. She’s currently in her thirties and resides with her husband and dogs in Central California.
For Lisa, a diary always meant writing poems. Often set in worlds of hellscape, meadow, or ocean, her first collection bathes the reader in darkness, sunlight, and moonbeam. The reader will find themselves lost aboard a sinking ship, on a train barreling through mountain snow, or clinging to a towering cliff.
