A press release has been circulating around the internet about “Bloodline: The Legend of Windwalker” by Carol Colson
Media coverage has been one of the most effective marketing tools for announcing a new book in the literary world, aside from conventional approaches. Press releases have been used to spread the news, which fosters media coverage growth. Essentially, a press release is a key that helps spread the word and reach target audiences.
The article that has been circulating in the digital world allows the actualization of the following benefits: (1) engages media, (2) builds relationships, (3) increases customer engagement, (4) establishes credibility, and (5) becomes the new face of public relations. In this sense, readers will get to know the message of the book and the author.
“Bloodline: The Legend of Windwalker” by Carol Colson was commended by the Hollywood Book Reviews, which highlighted, “Carol Colson offers a stunning meditation of information and relationships about the Native Americans. It’s also an opportunity to help raise awareness about the unique challenges the population has faced both throughout history and continues through today. Colson’s work felt so familiar and felt like I was eavesdropping into the characters’ lives as I flipped the pages. Altogether, Bloodline—The Legend of Wind Walker is a powerful construction force in Native American literature. Colson is a brilliant writing-artist and this novel shows it.”
This masterpiece was also nominated for the 2023 Eric Hoffer Book Award. The Eric Hoffer Book Award commemorates the memory of the famous American philosopher Eric Hoffer by honoring outstanding writing and the independent spirit of small publishers. Since its foundation, Hoffer has grown to become one of the most prestigious worldwide book awards for small, academic, and independent presses.

About the book:
“Bloodline: The Legend of Windwalker” is, according to the US Review of Books, “a remarkable odyssey of one family’s history, culture, past and present, a tale of sauntering set barriers and of discovering oneself. Paced like a thriller, the page-turning story introduces a cast of characters that are linked to the main plot collectively delivering a heartfelt wallop. Infused with sizeable bits of Biblical scriptures, the text serves as a moral compass for young people and adults alike. It further shows the complex dynamics of a family to remain true to their heritage.”
The story depicts the adventures of a young girl upon uncovering the mystery behind her father’s bloodline. Nhaya is plagued by recurring dreams of impending decisions, and they push her to decide the direction of her life—but which direction?
She believes the answer she seeks is concealed in the folds of her Nez Perce ancestry. Nhaya’s mother, however, has prevented her from following in her father’s footsteps after his death. When Nhaya flees to Camp Cocolalla in the Northern Idaho highlands, she finds herself in the woods at night, pursued by an unknown threat while rushing to save her sister’s life.
In opposition to her mother and against everything she knows to be right and true, Nhaya seeks the truth concealed in her bloodline as she seeks the legendary shaman, Windwalker. Will she find the truth she’s been searching for?
