“My Brother is a Girl” is a much needed resource for families and the professionals who work with children. When a child expresses that they do not identify as their gender of birth, it begins a process that can be confusing and difficult for everyone in the family, perhaps especially for siblings. This is the only book I have found that normalizes the complicated feelings and helps the sibling understand that a new normal is achievable.
