The massive book fair also celebrated its 75th anniversary this year. Slovenia, their guest of honor this year, presented itself as a nation with a rich literary history in addition to being a desirable tourism destination.
It is the best platform for publishers and authors to engage with international audiences and share stories. This year, over 105,000 trade visitors from 130 countries and 110,000 audiences participated in this big event. This year attracted more visitors compared to last year, when there were 93,000 trade visitors and 87,000 audiences. Over 2,600 activities were covered by more than 7,000 media professionals during the five days of the exhibition.
