“Bigfoot: Monster of the Ice” by Michele Wallace Campanelli was among the books displayed by Author Reputation Press during the Frankfurt Book Fair 2023 in Frankfurt, Germany, on October 18–22, 2023.
The Frankfurter Buchmesse, reportedly known as the world’s largest trade fair for books, opened its doors to participants around the globe celebrating books and their authors. The massive book fair also celebrated its 75th anniversary this year. Slovenia, their guest of honor this year, presented itself as a nation with a rich literary history in addition to being a desirable tourism destination.
It is the best platform for publishers and authors to engage with international audiences and share stories. This year, over 105,000 trade visitors from 130 countries and 110,000 audiences participated in this big event. This year attracted more visitors compared to last year when there were 93,000 trade visitors and 87,000 audiences. Over 2,600 activities were covered by more than 7,000 media professionals during the five days of the exhibition.
Author Reputation Press is dedicated to promoting literary connections between authors and readers. In line with this, ARP displayed several of its remarkable books at the largest book trade fair in the world. The book gallery was even more alluring because of the large variety of genres on exhibit.
The author, Michele Wallace Campanelli, is a celebrity, writer, and singer from the United States. She began professionally writing short stories and novels in the early 1990s. She has had nine stories on the New York Times best-seller list, including two that reached number one. Her short stories have appeared in over 30 best-selling international anthologies.
She has also written several novels, magazine articles, and newspaper articles in both fiction and non-fiction, which have been published by Simon & Schuster, Chronicle Books, Fireside Books, Fictionwise, Whiskey Creek Press, Wee Creek Press, Florida Today Newspaper, Woman’s World Magazine, Adamsmedia, McGraw-Hill, Multnomah Books, Red Rock Press, HCI, and America House Publishing. Her works have been read by over 57 million people worldwide. Michele is the CEO of Regal Entertainment Services, LLC, when she isn’t writing.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in English with a minor in music at the University of Central Florida. She earned a Master of Fine Arts at Southern New Hampshire University. She is currently pursuing her doctorate in education at Trident University.
She is a professional singer, writer, and actor who has performed with the St. Marks United Methodist Choir and Shekinah Theater with Director James Boone, the Brevard Symphony Orchestra with Director Chris Confessore, the HNJ Players with Director George Kobosko, the Brevard Community Chorus with Director Robert Lamb, the Space Coast Symphony Orchestra with Director Aaron Collins, and SCSO Chorus Directors Beth Green and Sherry MacLean. In 2012, she became a music major at Eastern Florida State College, a student of Dr. Robert E. Lamb, Jim Boyle, Sherry MacLean, Mark Baker, Sally Cook, and Dr. Chan Ji Kim.
“Bigfoot: Monster of the Ice” was displayed at the 2023 American Library Association (ALA) Annual Conference, which is the oldest and largest library association in the world. It was founded on October 6, 1876, during the Centennial Exposition in Philadelphia. The mission of ALA is “to provide leadership for the development, promotion and improvement of library and information services and the profession of librarianship in order to enhance learning and ensure access to information for all.”
The book was also featured in Publisher Weekly Magazine’s August 28, 2023, issue. The publication offers feature articles and news on all aspects of the book business and bestseller lists in a number of categories, but its best-known service is prepublication book reviews, of which it publishes nearly 9,000 per year.
During the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books 2023 at the University of Southern California on April 22–23, 2023, the book was also among the books displayed by Author Reputation Press. It was attended by nearly 500 authors and hundreds of exhibitors.
This masterpiece follows a similar route of mindlessness as most beastly movies. Despite the horror of murder, it includes many human characteristics, such as the love for family, the reaction to the loss of loved ones, the free will to choose, and the greediness that battles many humans. It incorporates science fiction, adventure, and thriller elements into a single story. Bret can be relatable, while Adam will extract some emotion from the audience as a dad struggling to be better for his family.
