“McCarthy Gold: The Irish Clans Book Four in the Series” by Stephen Finlay Archer was among the books displayed by Author Reputation Press during the Frankfurt Book Fair 2023 at Frankfurt, Germany, on October 18-22, 2023. This book was praised by the Midwest Book Review, which highlighted “From the historical religious significance of the O’Donnell Clan to Boyle’s hunt for treasures (now likely in possession of the McCarthy Clans Pact), Stephen Finlay Archer provides a story that entwines politics, passion, and intrigue with an edict to fulfill forefathers’ noble plans: ‘We are the generation chosen by God and destiny to recover the treasures of our Clans so that they can be used to fuel our glorious revolution.’

The Frankfurter Buchmesse is reportedly known as the world’s largest trade fair for books, opened its doors to participants around the globe celebrating books and their authors. The massive book fair also celebrated its 75th anniversary this year. Slovenia, their guest of honor this year, presented itself as a nation with a rich literary history in addition to being a desirable tourism destination.

It is the best platform for publishers and authors to engage with international audiences and share stories. This year, over 105,000 trade visitors from 130 countries and 110,000 audiences participated in this big event. This year attracted more visitors compared to last year, when there were 93,000 trade visitors and 87,000 audiences. Over 2,600 activities were covered by more than 7,000 media professionals during the five days of the exhibition.

Author Reputation Press is dedicated to promoting literary connections between authors and readers. In line with this, ARP displayed several of its remarkable books at the largest book trade fair in the world. The book gallery was even more alluring because of the large variety of genres on exhibit.

Stephen Finlay Archer was born in Toronto, Canada at the end of WWII. His father was a Canadian antiaircraft artillery officer who protected English aerodromes during the Battle of Britain, and his mother helped build military vehicles in Halifax for the war effort.

He worked as an aircraft engineering manager for 40 years, first in Canada and then largely in the United States. He was in charge of satellite system design, implementation, launch, and mission programs for both the US Navy and NASA/NOAA. Stephen retired and joined the Long Ridge Writers Group, where he learned how to write short stories and books. He is a member of the groups California Gold Country Writers Unlimited and Creative Nonfiction Writers.

“McCarthy Gold: The Irish Clans Book Four in the Series” by Stephen Finlay Archer shows the aftermath of the Irish Easter Rising of 1916. The clans seek McCarthy Gold as Collin searches for his missing sister. Boyle stalks the McCarthys and O’Donnells in his crazed mission to seize the hidden treasures of the Clans pact.
