The season that everyone is waiting for finally comes. It is time to put up and decorate your Christmas trees, wrap those gifts with love, hang up those Christmas socks on your door, enjoy the Christmas carols on the streets, turn on those Christmas lights, and most importantly, spread love and joy to everyone this holiday season.
This is the time to take a pause from our usual fast-paced daily routine. Since the majority are taking a break from school and work, take this opportunity to do the things you want to do and discover new things. This season is also the perfect time to grab a book and read by the fireplace with your loved ones, enjoying the things you love to do in each other’s company.
Having a problem deciding what to read this holiday? Here are some books from Author Reputation Press that you may want to read this holiday.

The Tiniest Tree In The Forest: A Christmas Story
This book is about Piney, THE TINIEST TREE IN THE FOREST. He is hoping to be chosen as the decorated tree to stand in the Town Square at Christmas time. Sadly, he isn’t chosen because he is too small and has to wait until he grows up and get bigger. He has many good friends who stand by him such as the snowman Mr. Carrot Nose, Chipper, the Chipmunk, who says he thinks he’s small, he is the smallest animal in the forest. Fluffer, the squirrel who can’t say much because his mouth is always full of nuts. His friends and all the animals of the forest give Piney a special Christmas present.

A Midnight Clear: A Dog’s Christmas
A black Lab dog, Max, is abandoned as a puppy and adopted by a landscaper. They live in a ranch house across from a golf course where they and neighbors take their dogs on walks. Max befriends other dogs until their masters show prejudice. Max and his best dog pal leave in a winter snow storm and meet an Hispanic couple with the wife about to give birth on Christmas Eve. Max and his friend find them shelter in an allegory of The Nativity and all ends well with the dogs’ masters finding them and restoring the centuries-old pact between man and dog.

It was a cold, dark Christmas Eve night, which is always the most magical night of the year, but it was not so for a small little puppy that was bullied by her much older and bigger brothers and sisters. The little caramel-colored puppy felt that she was not loved, and no one would ever miss her if she ran away, and that is what she decided to do. As she shivered in the cold, scary woods, something very magical happened. With the jingling of sleigh bells, the little pup was frightened but not for long. She was rescued by a kind man in a sleigh pulled by beautiful reindeer. Santa Claus scooped the pup up from the snow, saving the puppy from any more danger. Santa Claus took the little pup on the most magical adventure of her life. And it had indeed turned into a very special Christmas after all.

Josh And The Skeleton: Christmas Eve Discovery
Josh gulped hard, trying to catch his breath. What’s that, boy? Flash barked but didn’t look back at his master. I don’t remember seeing that truck there before now. Flash’s curiosity finally took over, and he sprinted toward the snow-covered blue pickup. The door windows were down, and the front windshield was shattered into a sea-green mosaic of a thousand pieces. Is that what I think it is, Flash? Is that a bone hanging out of the window? On a snowy, Oklahoma Christmas Eve, Josh and his dog, Flash, happen upon a skeleton in an old pickup on the Cheyenne campground area Josh isn’t allowed to visit. When Grandpa was alive, he told Josh the Cheyenne legends, including the one about ghosts who weren’t properly buried. Grandpa would know what to do about the skeleton, but he’s not here anymore, and Grandma doesn’t believe in the Cheyenne stories. Josh continues to be haunted by ghosts, memories of Grandpa, and the mysterious black crow who seems to be telling him something. Then one night Flash runs away, and Josh must confront all of his biggest fears. Will Josh be able to do the right thing? Find out in Josh and the Skeleton.

Famous men and women in a wide range of occupations tell heartfelt, sometimes sad, sometimes humorous, and often inspirational stories about their best-remembered Christmas. Many times, the Christmas they remember best was when they were poor, perhaps out of work, alone, and with little hope. Yet, they felt the spirit of Christmas within them that brought new hope.
Their stories can inspire us today who are coping with global terrorism, violence and, for many, physical, emotional, or economic concerns that are especially hard to deal with at Christmas. If you’re alone, you can spend Christmas with those of the famous who know what that is like.

On Christmas Eve, one of Santa’s reindeer informs him that all of his reindeer have come down with the flu and will be unable to pull his sleigh that night. Santa panics and wonders how he will be able to deliver all the toys to the children this Christmas. While searching for answers, he stumbles upon a little white chicken who informs him that he has the solution. He tells Santa that he has just spoken to Prancer, the lead reindeer, and Prancer reveals to the chicken that the jingle bells that the reindeer wear when they pull the sleigh provide the magic that allows the reindeer team to fly. The chicken takes the bells to Santa and tries to convince Santa that the bells will work for him. Santa is not convinced until the chicken puts the bells on himself, and in a blink of an eye, the chicken grows to be ten feet tall. Santa then mounts the chicken and with his sack full of toys, completes his mission that night. The story is told in rhyme and is brilliantly illustrated by the author’s grandson, Louis W. Lonsway.
