Joe Avinger was born at Bunker Hill AFB in Indiana. He is a retired software developer. He studied nuclear engineering at Georgia Tech and decided to stay in the Atlanta area for 35 years before moving back to Tampa with his wife. He is also an avid reader and a history buff.

The relationship between the Catholic Entente (France, Italy, Spain, and Portugal) and the United Kingdom is a powder keg and South America provides the spark.
