“The Pilot Fish: A Joe Berrett Series” by Vince DeOrchis is preparing to hit the big screen by releasing its Hollywood Movie Treatment

A three-act summary of this excellent book has been published in preparation for its movie adaptation. Movie Treatment is one of the first steps in writing a screenplay, and it aims to provide a summary of your work’s screenplay idea and give you the Hollywood style of fame that only a few authors have experienced.

Vince DeOrchis was born in New York City in 1949. He studied at Fordham University School of Law. He has been a practicing maritime lawyer in New York City for over forty years. Priori to pursuing law school, he spent several months at sea as a deckhand on a freighter that traveled between Spain and the East Coast of the United States.

He was on the Board of Directors for the U.S. Maritime Law Association, and was an advisor to the U.S. State Department during the negotiations of a new international convention to regulate the carriage of cargo by sea called the Rotterdam Rules. He was also one of the founders of the International Maritime Law Seminar, which takes place each year in London and Singapore.

He has also participated as a briefing judge in the Judge John R. Brown National Moot Court Competition involving maritime law students, and was a Sims Distinguished Practitioner and Residence lecturer at Tulane University School of Law in the maritime law department.

“The Pilot Fish: A Joe Berrett Series” by Vince DeOrchis is a high-stakes thriller set against the backdrop of a covert North Korean operation aimed at detonating a nuclear bomb in New York City on Thanksgiving Day. The story follows Joe Barrett, a brilliant, unassuming lawyer, who becomes an unlikely hero when he stumbles upon a conspiracy that could change the course of history.

Action, mystery, and human drama are all combined in this riveting and exciting thriller that has viewers on the edge of their seats until the very end. Plot complexity is added by the character development, especially Joe Barrett’s journey from a lawyer to an unlikely hero. The movie has a sense of urgency throughout as the tension builds.

The story’s resolution provides a satisfying end to the immediate threat, but an alternative sequel may go deeper into the characters’ destinies as well as the geopolitical significance. All things considered, the story is gripping and expertly written, striking a balance between action, suspense, and emotional resonance.
