Author Mark Shaughnessy is a graduate of Kent State University and has built and revitalized sales and marketing organizations as a sales manager and senior vice president of sales and marketing. Mark represented large companies such as The Prudential Insurance Company, Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Georgia, Jefferson-Pilot, and Ceridian; each presenting a different challenge. He also learned valuable lessons while participating in start-up companies. At Ceridian, sales increased more than 50% in successive years. Mark received the coveted Chairman’s Award for sales leadership, not presented in the prior five years.
