Pastor Conrad De La Torres was born in Cuba. His family defected to the United States when he was seven years old. In 1980, he graduated from St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas, with a B.A. in psychology and physical education and a minor in history.
He pastors Fusion Church in Homestead, Florida, and travels the country. He and his wife, Patricia, have two children and four grandchildren.
Pastor Conrad was interviewed by Benji Cole from CBS Radio in the People of Distinction program. The said program is one of the most extensive and wide-ranging radio shows in the United States. The radio program airs on Apple’s iTunes Radio Network (Professional News/Talk), featuring CBS Radio, Fox News, NPR, and C-Span.
