2024 Los Angeles Festival of Books (LATFOB) Book Signing: “Hope Betrayed: A Stripping Of Trust” by Charles R. Kuhn
In partnership with Author Reputation Press, Charles R. Kuhn, author of “Hope Betrayed: A Stripping Of Trust,” held a successful book signing event during the 2024 Los Angeles Festival of Books (LATFOB) at the University of Southern California.

The LATFOB is considered to be one of the world’s most significant literary gatherings. It has been held every year since 1996 with the goal of bringing together the people who create books and the people who love to read them. It is attended by more than 550 authors, celebrities, storytellers, and hundreds of exhibitors.

Charles R. Kuhn, resides in Reno, Nevada. He has two young children and a granddaughter. His daughter is the vice principal of an elementary school, and his son is an environmental engineer.
Mr. Kuhn has had the privilege of traveling through Southeast Asia for work and to many spots in Europe for pleasure. His writing style is largely based on personal experiences and stories he brings to life in riveting prose.
Mr. Kuhn’s writing skills developed after many years of technical writing in the environmental field. He has a bachelor’s degree from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, and a master’s degree from the University of Nevada at Reno.
“Hope Betrayed: A Stripping Of Trust” by Charles R. Kuhn presents the story of James Armstrong, a man diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, and his traveling companion, an attractive physician from Italy are chased around the world in a dangerous cat and mouse game by pursuers that want to keep their secret protected and their millions protected. Adding to James urgency is the diagnosis of his sixteen year old daughter with same disease.
