Connie Smith talks about her masterpieces: “The Pie, The Pie, and Oh that Smell!” and “Great Gobs Of Goose Grease.”
Connie Smtih was born in Salt Lake City Utah. She’s 76 years old. She started writing her books at the age of twenty-four. She was a landfill co-owner. Her favorite hobbies are gardening and beadwork. She is proud to say that her greatest achievements in life are her four beautiful daughters, namely: Angela, Amber, Jenny, and Summer.
She published the “The Pie, The Pie, and Oh that Smell!” and “Great Gobs Of Goose Grease.” And just recently, a new masterpiece has published, “Never Yours.”
“The Pie, The Pie, and Oh that Smell!” by Connie Smith, published by Author Reputation Press, was one of the nominees for the 2024 Eric Hoffer Book Award. This masterpiece was highly praised by Michael Radon of the US Review of Books, acknowledging that “Images in the book of the happy family working together to not just make food but also clean up the inevitable mess that follows can make even the hard work look like fun. Children may also want to read the story multiple times to appreciate the upbeat attitude and good message but also to find a hidden chicken in every illustration. This book, with its large illustrations, colorful characters, and warm, inviting tone, not only shows kids how parents need and deserve gratitude for their efforts but also opens up the conversation about children pitching in on tasks that they may take an interest in when they are old enough to handle them.”

“Great Gobs Of Goose Grease.” was highly praised by Mihir Shah of the US Review of Books, acknowledging that “What Smith suggests throughout the book, however, is to slow down. This is especially true after having a stroke but is just as relevant otherwise. Her perspective on the fleeting nature of life is commendable and one that emphasizes enjoying the moments, reflecting, peering within, and constantly assessing if the life we are living is the one we want to live. Are we cultivating strong relationships? Through her husband and sister Bonnie, Smith gets to see how much she truly means in the eyes of her family.”
This year, Connie Smith, in partnership with Author Reputation Press, proudly announce the successful release of her new book, “Never Yours.” This book is now available in leading online bookstores.
Read the book’s description below:
“This is about the story of a family who lived on a sheep ranch between 1910 and 1926. Times were hard for most people who lived at that time, but there were still “good honest morals” practiced, which were handed down from one generation to another. This is one family’s story of their world of love, problems and promises.”
