The New York Times Book Review (NYTBR) features “To Then and Back Again” by Jerry Bryson McMillan

Jerry Bryson McMillan’s masterpiece, “To Then and Back Again: A Memoir Part One A Collection of Uh-Oh’s, No No’s and A Few OMG’s,” was featured in the summer issue of The New York Times Book Review (NYTBR) Magazine of 2024.

Current non-fiction and fiction books are reviewed in The New York Times Book Review (NYTBR), a weekly paper magazine supplement to the Sunday edition of The New York Times (an American daily newspaper with a worldwide readership reported in 2020 to be a growing 6 million paid digital subscribers). It is one of the most well-known and significant book reviews in the business.

Rahul Gaur of the Hollywood Book Reviews describes “To Then and Back Again: A Memoir Part One A Collection of Uh-Oh’s, No No’s and A Few OMG’s” by Jerry Bryson McMillan as “To Then and Back Again is a meaningful, heart-touching read which will undoubtedly stay with you even after you finish it.”

A Hollywood movie script coverage and Hollywood movie treatment have been prepared for this book’s qualification for a Hollywood movie adaptation. These are subsequently uploaded to a database, which filmmakers consult when looking for stories to adapt into a film.

Jerry Bryson McMillan authored this book to share his sometimes simple, sometimes complicated, but always emotionally charged life experiences. The reader has to figure out if these feelings were prompted by the harsh realities of adversity that he, like many others, endured and overcame, or by personal successes won through endurance and, at times, pure determination alone.

In partnership with Author Reputation Press, Jerry Bryson McMillan, author of “To Then and Back Again: A Memoir Part One A Collection of Uh-Oh’s, No No’s and A Few OMG’S,” held a successful book signing event during the 2024 Los Angeles Festival of Books (LATFOB) at the University of Southern California. The Los Angeles Times held its much-awaited annual Festival of Books on April 20–21, 2024. The LATFOB is considered to be one of the world’s most significant literary gatherings. It has been held every year since 1996 with the goal of bringing together the people who create books and the people who love to read them. It is attended by more than 550 authors, celebrities, storytellers, and hundreds of exhibitors.

Jerry was interviewed by Benji Cole from CBS Radio in the People of Distinction program. The said program is one of the most extensive and wide-ranging radio shows in the United States. The radio program airs on Apple’s iTunes Radio Network (Professional News/Talk), featuring CBS Radio, Fox News, NPR, and C-Span. Click on the link below to listen to the full interview:

“To Then and Back Again: A Memoir Part One A Collection of Uh-Oh’s, No No’s and A Few OMG’S” is a memoir written in two parts. It’s a book for those who enjoy the trials and tribulations of real-life people and feel they can or would like to relate to those whom they are reading about.

It’s a memoir about only those richest, most interesting details concerning Jerry’s life…or so he would like to think. It was written to convey those sometimes simple, sometimes complex, but many times emotionally charged experiences he has had during his life.

It was among the books displayed by Author Reputation Press during the Frankfurt Book Fair 2023 in Frankfurt, Germany, on October 18–22, 2023. The Frankfurter Buchmesse, reportedly known as the world’s largest trade fair for books, opened its doors to participants around the globe celebrating books and their authors. The massive book fair also celebrated its 75th anniversary this year. Slovenia, their guest of honor this year, presented itself as a nation with a rich literary history in addition to being a desirable tourism destination. It is the best platform for publishers and authors to engage with international audiences and share stories.
