Among the most extreme and devastating examples of human conflict and hostility is when one person intentionally causes the death of another. Homicide has significant ramifications for the law, society, and psychology. It frequently involves a complicated web of motivations ranging from passion to premeditation. Families and communities are forced to deal with terrible losses and ruined futures.
“Dirt Bags and Dead Bodies” by Dr. Jeffrey Roald Snider wanted to give the public an insight into what it is truly like to be a police officer. The lack of respect for time and the number of times you put your life on the line.
Justice represents the equitable application of laws and moral principles to ensure fairness and accountability in society, and police officers are the instruments that make it possible. They aim to uphold rights, punish wrongdoing, and provide restitution to those who have been wronged.
Dr. Snider’s intention in writing the book is to help the public understand how police officers balance different traumatic events while on duty. To make the public believe that they are constantly doing their very best to uphold fairness and justice for all.
