AR Press is delighted to announce the publication of “The Little Bird Bible: Philippians Retweeted” by Jarrod Branson Conyers. This inspiring book is now available on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and the ARPress website.

Jarrod Branson Conyers has been studying and teaching the Bible to both young people and adults for the past 23 years. His passion is creating and innovating new ways to connect people to Holy Scripture. His Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and his Master of Arts in Christian Ministry laid the foundation of his profound interest in understanding culture, technology, exploring the nuance of words current and ancient, and sharing the good news.

He has taught repeatedly at Perkins School of Youth Ministry, and he is also a certified Youth Ministry Communications Trainer at the New Mexico Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church. Jarrod lives in Albuquerque, New Mexico, with his wife and children. He enjoys poetry, still-life photography, and board games. Jarrod created the Little Bird Bible with the aim of simplifying and enhancing the Bible reading experience for 21st-century audiences.

This retweeted version of Philippians, formatted like a social media page, inserts a number of side conversations parallel to the original text from atheologically diverse cast of historic philosophersand thinkerswho debate and discuss the meaning and significance of key passages.

Further, the retweeted version is seasoned with a series of built-in reflection questions and hashtag prompts to best bring the discussion and interpretation of the sacred text into an ongoing, open, and dynamic onlinediscussion. This second edition includes more illustrations, more theologians, and simplified inline emoji translations to make this work easier to read with greater spiritual depth.

Of all the letters the Apostle Paul wrote, Philippians is the most personal and the most joyous. From start to finish, joy fills each page, even though the author was in prison awaiting trial at the time he wrote it. Experience all the hope, conviction, and passion this book offers in a whole new Little Bird way.

Young adult and teenage readers will enjoy the union of Scripture with emojis, while readers who do not have time to read a traditional Bible will appreciate this translation’s brevity. Little Bird Bible books are the perfect way to introduce the major themes and teachings of Scripture to readers new to the Bible while also appealing to long-time avid Bible readers with a fresh interpretation and unique multidisciplinary commentary.
