The main topic of this book is “how to use God’s promises to heal your body when cancer or any other disease comes to you.” Would you know what to do and how to do it? Probably not. Okay, you would know to pray. However, when cancer or any other serious disease comes, fear comes with it.
Author Ronald P. Braddock Sr. was saved when he was about twelve years old. He was also raised by a single mom. He and his brother, Jimmy, were. poor. And they didn’t know it, for they always had enough food and clothes. Ronald decided at fifteen years old that he wanted to go to college. So, he prayed this prayer: “Lord, I need to go to college, and the only way. that this is possible is for me to get a scholarship in sports. I am good in baseball. I do not know if I am good enough, but if I am not, would you? make me good enough?”
After that prayer, he won every award one could. win in high school in Savannah, Georgia. Ronald received a full scholarship to the University of Georgia. God did not stop there. In his junior year, he broke. the highest batting record for a season by hitting a 489 batting average. The record still holds after all these years! God can do more than we could ask or think according to the power that works in us (the Holy Spirit).
Ronald was diagnosed with multiple myeloma, an incurable blood disease, in February 2019. He looked up God’s healing scriptures in the Bible and confessed them daily, and his disease began to disappear.
After a few months of speaking these healing promises out loud, the disease was no longer present in his blood. The teaching in this book is God’s method of healing. It is not the only method, but the Christians reading this method must develop faith in the healing scripture.
When one speaks the healing scriptures out loud, a certain amount of faith comes to you. Keep speaking out loud; faith keeps coming. Then you believe—healing is the result. Thousands of Christians, and believers, are going to be healed if you can believe God’s word. So, then Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. (Romans 10:17 NKJV)
It is imperative that you know whom you became after you were born again—a new creation. The Bible calls this “in Christ.” Your new spirit was created in righteousness and holiness and blameless in the eyes of God. You must lock that in your mind. And when the devil attacks your mind and tells you that you are a sinner and you are evil and tries to belittle you mentally, you will know that is him and he is a liar. It is important that you recognize him and call him out and tell him you are saved, righteous, and committed to God and you resist him in the name of Jesus. This spiritual maturity is pleasing unto God.
