“Who Drew the Two?” by Melton Luttrell was among the books displayed by Author Reputation Press during the Frankfurt Book Fair 2023 at Frankfurt, Germany, on October 18-22, 2023. This book was praised by Alyssa Avina of the Hollywood Book Reviews, who acknowledged that “The author did an incredible job of bringing authenticity and imagery to the narrative through his writing, allowing his life experiences to bleed into the story to make the setting and atmosphere these characters found themselves in to feel real and believable to the reader. The tension the author builds slowly through this book begins immediately, as the tense meeting between these five business leaders in the town form the bedrock of this mystery, showcasing how wealth, greed, power, and even family can all hold a powerful link to the darkest secrets a town can keep buried.”

The Frankfurter Buchmesse is reportedly known as the world’s largest trade fair for books, opened its doors to participants around the globe celebrating books and their authors. The massive book fair also celebrated its 75th anniversary this year. Slovenia, their guest of honor this year, presented itself as a nation with a rich literary history in addition to being a desirable tourism destination.

It is the best platform for publishers and authors to engage with international audiences and share stories. This year, over 105,000 trade visitors from 130 countries and 110,000 audiences participated in this big event. This year attracted more visitors compared to last year, when there were 93,000 trade visitors and 87,000 audiences. Over 2,600 activities were covered by more than 7,000 media professionals during the five days of the exhibition.

Author Reputation Press is dedicated to promoting literary connections between authors and readers. In line with this, ARP displayed several of its remarkable books at the largest book trade fair in the world. The book gallery was even more alluring because of the large variety of genres on exhibit.

Melton Luttrell was born in Eastland County, Texas, in October 1928. He has recorded several records for Square-L-Records, which he organized and managed for several years. Beginning in 1960, Melton and his wife, Sue, managed several Square-L Records Institutes annually at various resorts in New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas. They also worked at annual square dance resorts in Colorado and Missouri. Melton has called festivals in over forty states and abroad in England, Australia, New Zealand, and even Saudi Arabia.

“Who Drew the Two?” by Melton Luttrell is a thriller-mystery narrative that piques readers’ interest in determining who the murderer is. In the small west Texas town of Burson, the murder of one of the richest young men in the city has the entire community in a whisper. As police chief Ward Thompson and sheriff Buck Jones combine their services to identify the killer and find the motive for the murder, five of the city’s prominent business owners become entangled with the events that led up to the tragic event.

This masterpiece was displayed during the much-anticipated annual Los Angeles Times Festival of Books 2023 was held on April 22–23, 2023 at the University of Southern California. It was attended by nearly 500 authors and hundreds of exhibitors. The festival was launched to connect individuals who read books with those who write them. The range of book genres exhibited at the festival captivated readers of all ages.
