– New York Library Association (NYLA)
The New York Library Association, popularly called NYLA, was founded in 1890 at the close of the annual convocation of the University of the State of New York. NYLA has always been devoted to the promotion of the library interests of the entire state. It has, to its credit, contributed to a notable system of modern libraries throughout the state.
NYLA is affiliated with the American Library Association as the New York Chapter of that national body. Members of the state association include librarians of public, system, school, college, and university libraries, many special libraries, library trustees, and friends of libraries. From a membership of 43 in 1890, the association has grown to a vital organization of several thousand members, representing not only the libraries of New York State but also many members, state and institutional, from all over the United States.

“Biblical and Non-Biblical Evidences For The Book of Mormon: That Show Its Validity As Scripture: A Layman’s Thesis” was displayed during the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books 2023, held on April 22–23, 2023, at the University of Southern California. The festival was launched to connect individuals who read books with those who write them. The range of book genres exhibited at the festival captivated readers of all ages. Also, it was among the books displayed by Author Reputation Press during the Frankfurt Book Fair 2023 in Frankfurt, Germany, on October 18–22, 2023.
“Biblical and Non-Biblical Evidences For The Book of Mormon” by Joseph Dean DeBarthe was written under the direction of the Holy Spirit and written to the entire body of Christ. Some might ask why they should read it. Some will read it to try to refute it; others will read it to learn; and still others will use it to further their own agendas. However, you should read it and pray over it, asking God through His Holy Spirit to give you a witness as to its validity.
Many people believe that Joseph Smith, Jr., “wrote” the Book of Mormon, making the book controversial. Hence, many people do not accept it as scripture. They also believe that the Bible is the only scripture ever written, but nowhere does the Bible make that claim. In fact, the Bible testifies to the existence of other written scriptures, specifically a second scripture written about the tribe of Joseph (Ezekiel 37:19).
