Author Spotlight: Jolynn Rose, an IT Engineering professional-turned-author

Jolynn Rose is the author of “Agatha And Frank’s Story,” a memoir recounting the hardships, adventures, and discoveries of Agatha and Frank in an island off the east coast, where they were stranded.

Becoming a writer is Rose’s longtime dream, and Agatha and Frank’s Story is just one of her published books. Roslander: The Island of the Merbeing is her first book, a work she and her mother put together in a collaborative effort.

Ms Rose’s early career was spent in a corporate setting, having been responsible for multiple projects focused on IT engineering for 10 years. Her leadership method relied on Lean methodologies and efficiency improvements. She has also achieved keen financial, negotiation, and strategic planning performance that span global operations.

She was a laboratory manager at Intel Corporation between January 2007 and March 2012, directing 40 microprocessor testers and supervised 22 employees including validation process team consisting of automation architects, validation developers, manual validation vendor manager, and outsourced developers. Ms Rose was also a Department Manager for IT Engineering Computer at Intel from 1992 to 2009 and also held the role of Asset Manager between January 1992 and April 2004.

Before joining the corporate world, Ms Rose served a civil service role at the U.S. Army, where she supported the military on training, accounting, and many other assignments from January 1979 to January 1992.

Ms Rose earned her Associate of Arts degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Phoenix. She also took military training in communications at the Colorado Springs Business College.

    I READ HER FIRST BOOK AND IN IT, SHE CREATED A MERE-PERSON LANGUAGE,..HOW COOL IS THAT? :.) IT WAS SO INTERESTING, BECAUSE SHE HAD CREATED THE STORY AROUND THE FACT THAT THEY WERE IN THE FOES OF ORGANIZING THEIR UNDERWATER SOCIETY!
