Frances Green talks about “Huntington” with Al Cole from CBS Radio
Frances Green, author of Huntington, has made a guesting at People of Distinction, a popular radio program hosted by Al Cole from CBS Radio.
Huntington is about two separate stories that are set 100 years apart. There are two narratives, one is that of Nesta, a young girl who has been suspended over an accusation that she set her school on fire. Another is that of a group of children who lived in Nesta’s town 100 years ago.
While in suspension, Nesta reads a book titled Huntington, a story about a boy and his friends with a pet owl and monkey. Their story startles Nesta due to its similarity to her situation. Huntington and his friends are sent to a rectory and they are later accused of setting their school alight.
