Marrio Mathews’ “Dream No More” earns positive review from the US Review of Books

Dream No More: Rise of a Lion (Books I and II) by Marrio Mathews has been critically acclaimed by the US Review of Books, with the website’s book critic praising the book for its epic storyline and wondrous masterpiece.

Jonah Meyer from USRB states that “fans of fantasy fiction will revel in these first two books of an entertaining saga. It is noteworthy that all of the human characters in Mathews’ story so far are African Americans. While certainly not unheard of, this fact alone of an all-black cast makes the series stand out from most fantasy fiction in the marketplace.”

Also, what makes the book interesting is its form. The novel is written in a script style instead of a screenplay format so that it is easy to read just like a fast-paced movie. Through its unique format, readers can easily imagine the book’s characters, setting, and twisting plotlines as materials for the big screen. Read the full review here.
