Author Spotlight: Vicky Weston, author of “A Plague of Pukekos”

Vicky Weston

Vicky Weston, author of A Plague of Pukekos, loves arts and wood carving.

She specializes in watercolor canvas, pen and ink. In addition, she loves poetry as well. Vicky was born in the UK, but spent her early years in Tangayika and Kenya partly during the Mau Mau crisis.

Travelling home by ship, she found herself entranced by the sea and chose to work on and deliver Yachts. She has also written two travel books, The View From Here and Around the Next Corner, which follow her journeys by boat and Motorhome, as well as a period of years living in France, and travelling in Spain and Portugal.

Vicky already retired and lives in New Zealand. She has also written a small book called Nature Mystic in which she shares perspectives of her spiritual journey. She is keen on Theosophy, spiritual healing, and the natural world.
