Rian McMurtry talks to Kate Delaney on America Tonight, where the author has discussed in depth his book Between Light And Dark.
During the interview, McMurtry revealed how he came up with the idea for the book. It’s a story of Angela Fujiwara, a high school freshman looking forward to her freshman year.
She is a member of the JV football team, an easy-go-lucky girl who likes to hang with her friends and dodge her schoolwork.
However, before the first day, a bus accident changes everything.
