Our Featured Books for the month of August: From fast-paced suspense thrillers to religious books

Our ever growing library of books already provides the best reads in almost every genre, ranging from fiction to nonfiction works by our authors. Going through each title to see which ones to pick for a summer reading list can be a daunting task, however, so we’re culling some titles from our vast array of titles as part of our Featured Books list for the month of August 2020.

Dan Jorgensen: Teacher And Sleuth by M. M Beck

The book follows the story of General Jorgensen, a retired four-star General from the U.S. Army. During his service, he was assigned to the Army Criminal Investigation unit, but this also meant facing a lot of danger in the line of duty, including gunshot wounds.

The Case Of Two Left Shoes by M. M Beck

The book is the story of Daniel Jorgensen, a lieutenant colonel and Chief of Investigations of the Army Criminal Investigations Element (CIE) in the Virginia area command. Dan has been working in the CIE since before the end of World War Two. His success at finding criminals and eliminating them has made the friends and family, of those he has sent to prison, very angry with him. Their attempts on his life and his family have been to kill him or stop his investigations.

The Scarpacci Files by J. J. Caniglia

The book is a story of two brothers who must avenge the death of their father, murdered by a group of gangsters for failing to pay extortion money to them, as do the others in the neighborhood.

A Mother’s Good Grace by Crystal Nelson

The book talks about the role of family in protecting each member from the dangers of this world. However, it sometimes becomes inevitable for our loved ones to commit acts that may hurt one another at some point.

Thank You GOD For Another Day! by Ronnie Fletcher

The book contains inspiration poems written by Fletcher. It marks the author’s latest work out from the more than 10 books published by him so far.

The Lonely Dinosaur Helps Chip by Kacy Baker

The book is about the lonely Dinosaur who came to Chip’s rescue one day and forms a new friendship with him.
