Benji Cole of CBS Radio interviews Mark S. Allen, the author of “God Loves People, But He Hates Sin: Heaven or Hell – The Choice Is Yours,” a book that manifests the boldness of faith
Mark S. Allen and Benji Cole scraped the surface and discussed with the audience what encouraged the author to write God Loves People, But He Hates Sin: Heaven or Hell – The Choice Is Yours, a sneak peek into what the book is about, and the wisdom the author prays to impart to the readers.
Have we ever thought to ourselves, “Why am I still battling with sin?” How can we keep sin from suffocating our spiritual growth? Is such a thing even possible?
It may feel like a condemnation, but when humility dwells in one’s heart, it will be realized that it is a conviction. The author tackles the most fundamental questions that determine a spiritual life in this book, starting with “What is sin? Is there such a thing as eternity? Is there a heaven? Each essay is supported by Bible verses that respond to the author’s questions in each part. He is focused on ensuring that the knowledge offered properly investigates each topic as a witness to God’s love, encouraging everybody to discover God’s presence in their lives.
Those who are unsure about what sin is will be able to learn more about it and how it affects their lives and personal connections with others and with God. How do we go about living our lives? We see daily happenings and choose to ignore them, but should we? How can we overcome sin if we aren’t actively involved in spreading God’s love to others?
Living in God’s love is being aware of what we do and who we are in His love as believers. God Loves People, But He Hates Sin: Heaven or Hell – The Choice Is Yours addresses the spiritual issues that believers face on a daily basis, while also encouraging people to embrace their relationships with God in order to overcome sin through love and understanding.
At times, God can appear far away, especially when we are going through a tremendous struggle or conflict in our lives and living in the deception of sin’s splendor. When it appears that God is silent and we have lost all hope, we can rest assured that He is present. He wants to meet us right in the midst of our suffering and despair.
Jesus has given us the greatest gift of all: salvation, and we have been saved by grace. The highest act of kindness is grace. Grace is shown even when we are undeserving. “Whosoever” is who Jesus died for. He gave His life for us.
If we feel like we’re on the losing end of sin, and shame has cast us into the depths of existence, God has a plan for us to win, and He has the power to make it happen. It’s past time to put the sins that have been killing us to death. God gives us free will because God loves people, but He hates sin: Heaven or Hell – the choice is ours.
