“A Turkey Gone Wild” by Terence Young, a book about a journey full of pride that teaches kindness and humility at the end, is now available for purchase

Terence Young’s book “A Turkey Gone Wild” has been released. A literary work that takes the risk of exposing the ugliness of pride while teaching kindness and humility.

Terence Eugene Young was born in Cameron, Texas, on June 21, 1965. His mother, Verna Knight, was his only living parent. He had also worked hard for many years in Cameron, Texas when he began to have medical difficulties such as terrible feet, hypertension, high blood pressure, pre-diabetes, severe loss of left vision, and was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis.

For him, the path was clear and couldn’t be avoided. As a result, he decided to leave his job and apply for disability, which he received. With all of his spare time, he decided to publish his book in the hopes of earning some money to aid his poor mother, who is also crippled and has difficulties getting around, especially since his stepfather died.

These days, pride is admired, whereas humility is regarded as a sign of weakness. What would our lives be like if we didn’t practice humility and kindness? What would we be doing? What does it mean to live a humble life in reality?

Both pride and humility are present. Two terms that are completely contradictory, yet, in our humanity, are two things with which we grapple. It may appear that letting go of pride makes us weak, and that humility makes us small and insignificant, but this is not the case. In truth, pride is our adversary, while humility is the heart posture that God intends for us.

This book instills kindness and humility in young readers while also exposing them to the realities of life. That life’s lessons aren’t always taught through positive experiences—the lovely ones. Suffering, criticism, defects, weaknesses, negative experiences, and pride can teach us, particularly children, the most painful yet wonderful realizations. This book may encourage children to comprehend the difference between good and evil.

A Turkey Gone Wild” is a story about a turkey coming to terms with his impending death as Thanksgiving approaches. He notices that he is being watched a little too closely as if his existence is for the pleasure of those who are in his view. He instantly starts making havoc, mocking animals, picking fights with them, and cursing them out, not comprehending the hidden dangers.

He appears to be on the lookout for death. He subsequently passes out from tiredness, and when he wakes up, he learns he has died. He died of a heart attack as a result of his deeds on the farm. He meets up with the Devil, who intends to injure him and roast him this Thanksgiving.

The antidote is humility and kindness. This book may encourage readers to reframe their reality. God expands the borders of the humble. Choose to kill pride. Abase yourself.

I wrote this book along time ago in high school and it’s intent is suppose to inspire the imagination and nothing more. The character in this book is based on fiction but the character’s outlook on life, which slowly led to his bizarre behavior and emotional outburst could be look upon as being real as the world that we live in today. Because if we look deep enough inside ourselves and those around us. We just might so happen find what this book represents. Because there is a young turkey hidden around ever corner that needs our help. All we have to do is see the signs and respond with Patience, Love and Care. Thanks! and enjoy my book. ___Terence.
