Ric Bratton talks with Tootsie Barron about her book “Sugar Paper” on his radio show “This Week in America” 

Ric Bratton has a long history in the broadcast profession, having worked with superstars such as Larry King, Hugh Downs, Chris Matthews, Jay Leno, George Clooney, and Katie Couric, among many others.

Bratton currently has two nationally syndicated radio shows, with “This Week in America” alone airing on over 100 stations and showcasing nationally recognized guests and interesting subjects. The Central States Alliance for Community Media has awarded the radio show the Philo T. Farnsworth Award for Best Professional Talk Show.

Bratton also anchors the daily segment, “Just So You Know,” which airs on over 40 radio stations across the country. His TV experience includes news reporting and anchoring, weather forecasting, and sports newscasts. The Ric Bratton Show was one of his longest-running and highest-rated local TV discussion shows in the country.

Tootsie Barron, author of “Sugar Paper,” discusses with Ric Bratton her astonishing book, which showcases the prowess of an inconceivable piece written by a woman, allowing readers to experience ambivalent feelings and embark on a meaningful life journey.
