The “Silent Invasion” was the result of a series of events in the 1990s. It all started when the author learned about the Rwandan massacre. He couldn’t comprehend how two tribes who had lived in relative peace for hundreds of years had devolved into one of the world’s worst genocides.
He was reading an analysis of the problem late one night. He couldn’t sleep that night, so he watched a series of classic horror films. He stayed up pretty late. He remembered a dream the next morning in which aliens attempted to invade Earth.
It then became stuck on him. Why should aliens waste their lives and resources killing humans when we are so willing to do it ourselves? The concept of “Silent Invasion” was developed.
The main characters of this “Silent Invasion” are Jeff Smith and Amber van Hosteen.
Amber van Hosteen works at News Corporation in New York City, which is her ideal job. That is until she learns that enormous businesses are manipulating governments around the world, funding dubious initiatives, and developing massive factories in chaotic areas for unclear reasons.
Amber pursues a trail of clues to a secluded village in North Africa, determined to find out who is responsible for these killings.
When suspected supernatural materials are brought to the attention of the country, Jeff Smith, a CIA agent, finds himself on an assignment to follow a mysterious woman to Africa.
The lady he’s after is Amber, who decides to investigate what she believes is a corporate cover-up in which governments are being exploited. But the chemical produced by this firm is only the beginning of Jeff and Amber’s concerns; their lives may be in jeopardy as a result of what they’ve uncovered.
If Amber and Jeff don’t stop it, what they’ve discovered will transform the world forever. But will anyone believe them, and will they live to tell the story?
