The second edition of Minnie Stewart’s book “Hands inside the Battle: My Mississippi History Second Edition” was released by Author Reputation Press. The author, Minnie P. Stewart, grew up in Jackson, Mississippi. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Jackson State College in 1970. She was hired for her first teaching post in Waukegan, Illinois, in 1970. In her birthplace of Jackson, Illinois, she worked as a teacher for thirty years. She was listed in Who’s Who Among American Teachers in 1996 and 1998 and garnered numerous accolades for her teaching, including the Golden Apple Award in 1998.
