“I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do. And if I do what I do not want to do, I agree that the law is good… For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out. For I do not do the good I want to do, but the evil I do not want to do—this I keep on doing…”
– Romans 7:15-19
Due to his father’s links to the royal family and his father’s government position, Jean-Marie V. Nkusi was born in Uganda when his family was forced to flee the Rwandan revolution. Mr. Nkusi experienced a spiritual breakthrough while residing in a refugee camp in Burundi, which helped shape him into the educator, evangelist, and humanitarian he is today.
He is committed to conveying the message that “Jesus loves the little children and us all” and is especially interested in raising money to aid starving children in Africa and other parts of the world. He is well and alive. The only path that will take you to Heaven is to follow Jesus, the Great King. Mr. Nkusi now resides in Edmonton, Alberta, with his wife and four lovely children. He is a proud Rwandan-Canadian.
“The Healer” is about when Jean-Marie Nkusi was just twelve years old, he was living in a refugee camp in Burundi when he got malaria and went into a coma. He had a miraculous, transformative religious experience while he lay on the hospital bed, surrounded by his family, who were reciting the Rosary. He perceived his body rising towards Heaven, where he encountered Jesus Christ and the Virgin Mary. They informed him that although he had been restored, he still had to come back to earth to spread the special message of God’s love.
