He was an actor before he became a writer. He has performed in over 30 theater plays, three movies, and one soap opera. He resided in Los Angeles for 30 years. He made an effort to enter the movie industry. He participated in the Happy Days auditions in the 1970s. He couldn’t enter the industry since he needed an agent.
In 1959, he earned his degree from Massanutten Military Academy in Woodstock, Virginia. He received an Associate Degree in Business from Staten Island College. Furthermore, he was a graduate of the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York in 1973.
The protagonist of “The Boat Detective” is a former New York City police officer named Colton James. “Give an underdog a step up in life,” was his unwavering credo. He left the city police after 10 years due to a significant trust fund given by his family, relocated to the west, started his own investigative firm, and obtained his P.I. license in Los Angeles.
In addition, he purchased a stunning 42-foot twin-diesel Grand Banks Yacht for himself. He referred to it as “The Who Done It” and loved living there. Mrs. Gloria Campbell, whose husband perished in a plane tragedy, was the first customer. Flight 93, on September 11, 2001, was not just any plane crash. He boarded the trip at that particular time only out of pure trust. Gloria was told by Charles to leave town and go into hiding if anything occurred to him before he left on that “faithful flight”. He made an effort to save his brother from a local criminal in Philadelphia. Albert Gardeano was the man’s name.
She consequently followed his advice and traveled to Los Angeles after the plane crashed. Gloria rented a condo in Marina Del Rey when she got there. Then she heard from the brother of her husband. He claimed Mr. Gardeano relocated here since it was nearer to his place of employment. He established a place of business on Lankershim Boulevard in North Hollywood. He relocated the company to L.A. since things were hot in Philly.
She noticed a few men following her shortly after settling into the condo. She thinks she recognizes them. She realized they were the same guys she had seen in her husband’s office in Philadelphia. She searched for a private detective who could assist her. In Marino, where she had rented a condo, she discovers a private investigator who lives on a boat, and the adventure begins.
