Benji Cole of CBS Radio interviews Dale DeLillo, the author of “Tell the Truth”

Benji Cole of CBS Radio interviews Dale DeLillo, author of “Tell the Truth.” They delved deeper into the story’s message as it relates to family and legal issues.

Dale DeLillo grew up in the Boston suburbs and now resides on the West Coast. He is an avid reader and reads different kinds of media. He is a first-time author, and “Tell the Truth” is his first book.

He wrote a book that a man in the same situation could relate to. “Tell the Truth” is a striking novel that shows biased procedures in the fight for a child’s custody. John Corfinio, the protagonist, wants to believe in the truth, justice, and fair play that are the foundations of the legal system, but his painful journey is plagued with frustration and periods of incarceration in his never-ending battle for the ability to create a relationship with his only child. His struggles became more complicated as his efforts to follow the legal procedures and rulings were laid down when he found out that the demands were not fair and were in favor of his ex-wife.

The title of the book is a plea, to tell the truth and be fair with the system, as it is supposed to be that way. Justice is said to be served fairly, with no favors given to either side.
