Ms. Gurmay Fraser, the author, is a mother and is ordained by God. She was blessed to write Love Me or Leave Me, in which she provided solutions to victims of domestic violence. Ms. Fraser is a high school teacher, special educator, licensed school social worker, psychotherapist, a certified speaker with Les Brown, a certified life coach with Dr. Steve Jones, a health and wellness coach, and she has an advanced social media certificate. 

Ms. Fraser received the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Award for “Designing the Creative Work Environment”. She was elected and awarded by Sterling Registry and Cambridge Who’s Who as a lifetime member of the Registry of Executives, Professionals, and Entrepreneurs.

Ms. Fraser is certified by the Women’s Commission Speaker Bureau, was appointed by the mayor of Charlotte, NC, and served on the Domestic Violence Advisory Board and at UNC’s Love Speaks Out project. Ms. Fraser was an adjunct professor at CPCC in the small business center. She provided workshops at JCSU in the HealthPlex.

Ms. Fraser is a sought-after speaker and has made several appearances on television, and radio stations, in women’s groups, churches, and businesses. She has spoken on several topics that have brought insights to many people.

The author had a rough start in life. At three months old, she was poisoned by her 12-year-old cousin. Burned and unable to swallow, she was in intensive care for several months, then discharged with a grim prognosis. But Ms. Fraser survived, only to be raped at 4 years old, violated as a teenager, and experienced domestic violence and a variety of serious medical conditions, including the removal of a large and extremely rare tumor.
