Macena L. Mason, at this time, was learning on her own how to become her own person. She plays the piano and, later on, plays with a band for a while. She has been learning many skills in different areas of her life. She graduated with an AA degree in microcomputers from Prince George’s Community College in 1996, even when others did not believe she could go to college.
Later, she moved out on her own and is now preparing for another stage in life. She wrote her next book, “From Joseph to David (in the Old Testament),” during the virus, which talks about all she learned while living on her own. Look forward to reading this as well.
“A Struggle Equals Goals” is an autobiography of the author’s life living with epilepsy. The book talks about what she went through and accomplished as well. She aspired to learn, live, and be like the people she observed.
She had to prove to others that she could do and learn what others knew how to do, like catching the bus and staying home alone. Other people’s fears made growing up difficult, and their beliefs hurt those who wanted to be around her.
