“I woke up when I heard the people loading things into the truck. I tried to get out the same way I’d come in, but I couldn’t find my way back outside.”
-an excerpt from the book.
Author Reputation Press is honored to publish “Brownie the Trucker Mouse” by Mildred Alice Edwards. The children’s picture book is now available on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and the ARP website.
Mildred Alice Edwards grew up in a small, backwoods town in western Kentucky, just a mile from the Ohio River. She had dreams while growing up of being able to travel to see as much of the United States as she could.
After the birth of her boys, she worked various jobs throughout her early career years. Little did she know that there was a career in her future that would help her fulfill her dream. She and her husband would start driving an 18-wheeler truck all over this vast country of ours. Not only that, but she was able to see the sights that the United States of America had to offer. She was also able to see some of Canada.
With all of the sights that she had witnessed, there was one that she could not have imagined. On one of the trips in the big purple truck, she saw a sight that would have made most people run for the hills.
“Brownie the Trucker Mouse” will take you inside the life of a little and very curious field mouse named “Brownie.” Brownie lived in a barn out in the country. It sat right next to where a man and a woman would park their big, bright, shiny, and purple 18-wheeler truck. When they came home, Brownie’s curiosity would always lead to some kind of adventure for him.
These adventures would always end with him safely returning home. However, little does he know that his curiosity about this big purple truck will ultimately change his life “FOREVER.” That is, “IF” he can just get inside.
