The US Review of Books (USRB) highly praised Bernadette Guarnieri’s “The Sin of Our 4Father”

“The Sin of Our 4Father” depicts the fictional lives of three different people who struggle to do the right thing every day. It shows us to what lengths the enemy, Satan, will go to destroy them and what lengths God, our Creator, and His Son will go to stop him when they ask for His help. The three characters struggle to make the right decisions as their guardian angels fight behind the scenes for their physical as well as spiritual well-being.

“The Sin of Our 4Father” by Bernadette Guarnieri is acclaimed by Jennifer Hummer of the US Review of Books, who underscores that “Guarnieri writes with compassion for both the humans and their guardian angels.”

Bernadette Guarnieri was born in British Guiana. She was the third of six children and was known as the sister willing to entertain her younger siblings with stories she created when she ran out of familiar stories to tell.

Naturally, her love for reading slowed down after she became a mother of three children—two daughters and one son. Soon the old habit returned—creating stories to keep her children entertained. This went on for years until she became a grandmother, and that transferred to her grandkids. Finally, she decided to put some of her stories down on paper.

This story was created to help bring hope to others who may feel alone, as the author Bernadette felt when she became a single parent, living in New York with no family support system. There were many trials and temptations to overcome, and even when armed with the knowledge of the love of God and His love for us, sometimes she felt alone.

As her faith and knowledge of God grew, she realized that so many times when she felt alone, angels were working to help her stay strong and overcome.

“I think this book can help people realize they are never alone, and help is just a prayer away. Jesus’s blood is the cure for all sins and with His help and that of the angels, we can all win this battle.”

This masterpiece is written on the premise that guardian angels are all around us. Guarnieri’s book is about three humans whose angels try to protect them from evil. Blyana, as hard as she tries to stay clean, continues to fall prey to drugs. Even after winning millions of dollars and impressing her CEO boss, she cannot destroy the battle within and succumbs.

Boaz, her guardian angel, tries to give Blyana strength, but to no avail. Ajax struggles to discover why he has been put on earth and, in so doing, ignores the warnings of his angel, Aitan.

Although Zuberi is secretly interested in learning more from the missionaries who live in his village, he fears his family will kill him if he goes against the Qur’an. Conversion to Christianity would dishonor his family, and he vacillates between praying to Allah and praying to Jesus. Sloan, his guardian angel, is concerned that Zuberi will soon have to choose between eternal life and eternal death.

Here’s an excerpt from the US Review of Books that highlights:

“While Blyana, Ajax, and Zuberi take on their individual earthly struggles, their three guardian angels fight against the Dark One and the dark soldiers. Protecting their earthly charges is their sole job, and the author describes their mission with heartfelt empathy. The guardian angels, too, understand that temptations are all around for their humans, and yet they love them regardless. The author’s love for humanity is palpable in this creative novel. Guarnieri’s deep belief that we are never alone and that all we need to do when we are feeling lonely is to ask for divine guidance is uplifting. Readers who enjoy inspiring tales of heavenly protection and intervention might find this book to be just what they are seeking.”
