“Tis your stage of life that’s botherin’ me Lass. A mistake here, a bad decision there, and your life’s changed forever. Can you not see that? Your father’n me want only the best for you, surely you can see that too.”
– an excerpt from the book
It is a privilege for Author Reputation Press to release “The Rubber Room” by Ivan Bosanko. The story revolves around KateLynn and Jerry’s relationship, which was tested by a number of circumstances. The book is now available on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and the ARP website.
Ivan Bosanko has been an author, writer, and engineering specialist for over half a century. He began his writing career when he was in the eighth grade, when he wrote an essay about the first wheat farmers in the country, which he called “Soldiers of the Soil.”
His first book, “The Sea of Grain,” was printed in 1980. He got married in September 1952. Six weeks later, he was drafted into the U.S. Army Signal Corps. He resumed college classes in 1955 under the GI Bill with a double major in electrical engineering and technical writing.
“The Rubber Room” is a historical romance fiction novel that is set in the 1950s. It also shows how the presence of religion can affect the relationship between the two characters in the story. KateLynn came from a strict Catholic family, while Jerry is a committed atheist.
In the 1950s, change was on the horizon. The world was changing due to war, the times were changing, and other factors, and whether KateLynn and Jerry liked it or not, their way of life was changing. KateLynn and Jerry’s lives are forever changed by a lovely night, which plunges them into a completely different world they never imagined.
More difficulties and changes are thrust upon them after years of their love battling to survive, and neither one is sure if their love will be able to withstand them. A different moment changes their lives forever after they fought and struggled to stay together once more. Will KateLynn and Jerry’s time ever come, or will fate send them in another direction?
