Author John Albert Buchess is a retired secondary school teacher who graduated from UC Berkeley in June 1970. He now lives in Eden, Maryland, with his wife and 24-year-old son on a tiny, non-working farm. He enjoys tending to the acres of his farm and his wife’s garden.
Buchness also performs concerts for the Eden residents and plays classical guitar at St. Francis’ Roman Catholic Church on Sundays. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, he now offers at-home concerts on YouTube, which may be viewed at stfrancis.org. He enjoys giving guitar lessons and writing at home.
He was also interviewed by CBS Radio’s Benji Cole in the program People of Distinction.
