“Should Divorced Christians Remarry?” by Rev. Dr. Alix Pierre is highly commended by Barbara Bamberger Scott of the US Review of Books, who highlights that “Pierre’s brief but fact-laden treatise is thought-provoking and designed to help his fellow Christians put certain stereotypes to rest and open minds and hearts to a forgiving, understanding attitude regarding divorce and remarriage. His subject is highly relatable, as these are common human situations and ones he often confronts in his role as a law expert, pastor, and founder of the Universal Theological Seminary. Pierre takes the stance not of an advisor but as someone examining the issues rationally. By so doing, he reaches sound conclusions based solidly on biblical truth. His work should be accessed by Christians and those not of that persuasion purely for its thoughtful, wide-ranging definition and detail.”
Rev. Dr. Alix Pierre is an admirer of the Christian faith. He is an activist, author, professor of pastoral theology, painter, artist, musician, songwriter, poet, and lawyer. With a vision to create an environment where everybody is somebody, he founded the Universal Church of Salvation in 1994, a nondenominational ministry where he serves with care, devotion, and charisma. In 2001, he founded Universal Theological Seminary, where he teaches, trains, and equips church workers with leadership skills.
He is the author of many CDs and books, such as Can Women Become Pastors?, Why Do Many People Hate The Jews But Should Not, and To Become Better Christians. He is working with the Sauver Haiti Organization and the Eben Ezer Foundation in Haiti, helping orphans and developing a 500-student school. As a social observer, he addresses all issues that affect people’s lives by bringing light where darkness and ignorance shun it. As Senior Pastor, he is also a successful real estate broker and investor, helping families achieve their dreams. As a visionary leader, his priority is to encourage, motivate, and equip people to successfully face the challenges of life.
He was also interviewed by CBS Radio’s Benji Cole in the program People of Distinction. The program is one of the most wide-ranging radio shows in the United States, hosted by Benji Cole and Al Cole from CBS Radio. People of Distinction is the right fit for authors and readers to discover newly published books, mostly written by passionate and independent authors. Benji Cole, the host of the program, is a world-class interviewer, video formulator, Los Angeles actor, and filmmaker. He’s shared the acting stage with superstar Tom Hanks.
