“Maggie, I Love You” released its Hollywood movie script and movie treatment in preparation for hitting the big screen. This masterpiece is a story that portrays human behavior and desires that have always been and will always be. While some movies have showcased greed as the cause of some people’s downfalls and deaths, this story tells it from a private investigator’s point of view. It’ll appeal to both young adults and adults.
The story portrays humans’ need to be in a state of comfort and to have some sense of accomplishment in their lives. The characters in the story are relatable as they show the prevalent human desires and the drive behind some nefarious acts that we engage in to attain those desires. The story showcases human flaws such as greed, violence, impatience, deceit, and materialism. However, it also shows faith, kindness, unity, and love. All of these are themes that interest people because they are willing to sacrifice for them. Using these themes, “Maggie, I Love You” will gain wide acceptance when adapted.
Here’s an excerpt from the review written by Hollywood Book Reviews’ Lily Amanda that highlights:
“Maggie, I Love You is a tale which awakens the inner sleuth in you. Fast-paced and gripping, this tapestry provides a glimpse into the protagonist’s exceptional methods and showcases his ability to tackle a convoluted case with ease. Higgins manages to hold the reader’s attention by providing clues and red herrings along the way and even goes ahead to create various suspects across the pages as he masterfully leads us to a satisfying conclusion.
A true virtuoso in voice and storytelling, this text rings with both profound originality and apparent contemporary energy. Ronald Higgins has admittedly written a genrerefuting book. The two-hundred-plus pages had me hooked from the very first page. If you are new to Higgin’s triumphant works, then Maggie, I Love You would be a great place to start!”
