“Bloodline: The Legend of WindWalker” by Carol Colson is preparing to hit the big screen by releasing its Movie Treatment
A three-act summary of this excellent book has been published in preparation for its movie adaptation. Movie Treatment is one of the first steps in writing a screenplay, and it aims to provide a summary of your work’s screenplay idea and give you the Hollywood style of fame that only a few authors have experienced.
Carol Colson is a native Idahoan who longs for the opportunity to spend time in nature. Carol began her writing journey after raising her son, two daughters, and two granddaughters. After learning the craft of writing children’s short stories, “Bloodline: The Legend of WindWalker” became her challenge. Carol quoted, “I have been told everyone has a story to tell, WindWalker was mine. For me, writing is like breathing; essential, refreshing, and sometimes necessary for my sanity… and always fun.”
“Bloodline: The Legend of WindWalker” presents the story of Nhaya, who is plagued by recurring dreams of impending decisions. She believes that the answer lies hidden in the folds of her Nez Perce heritage. Her mother has forbidden her to explore that path, but circumstances pushed Nhaya to go against her mother and decide which direction she would choose for her life: to pursue the truth hidden in her bloodline.
This historical fiction narrative was praised by Lily Amanda of the Hollywood Book Reviews, to wit, “Bloodline -The Legend of Wind Walker is a remarkable odyssey of one family’s history, culture, past and present, a tale of sauntering set barriers and of discovering oneself. Paced like a thriller, the page-turning story introduces a cast of characters that are linked to the main plot collectively delivering a heartfelt wallop. Infused with sizeable bits of Biblical scriptures, the text serves as a moral compass for young people and adults alike. It further shows the complex dynamics of a family to remain true to their heritage.”

In this fertile place of searching and seeking, the story unfolds in layers of resounding truths and wisdom. As Nhaya learns to trust herself, the world opens up to show itself to her in healing ways. In the process, Colson connects readers to Native American culture, keeping traditions alive for a new generation to celebrate and embrace alongside Nhaya.”
