“Thus His second coming will be visible and open for all to see. The purpose of His Second Coming is earthly in fulfillment of all of the covenant promises made to Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, David, and their descendants (cf. Isaiah 59:20-21; Zechariah 14:3-5; Daniel 4:13,17).”

Author Reputation Press is blessed and honored to publish “The Blessed Hope” by Kenneth G. Symes. The blessed hope! What is it? Why is it important for us to understand it? The answer to the second question may be found simply in the words of the Apostle John as recorded in I John 3:3. “And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.” This masterpiece is now available on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and the ARP website.
There is no greater incentive to godly living than the hope of our Lord’s soon-coming return. John also tells us what the Blessed Hope is: “Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doeth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.” (I John 3:2).
The author, Kenneth G. Symes, B.A., S.T.M., was a pastor in Baltimore, MD, for almost twenty years before God called him into Jewish ministry in 1977. While in Baltimore, he cut his teeth in evangelism, preaching on the streets of East Baltimore.
For the past thirty years, while effectively reaching people with the Gospel, the author has worked with local churches to enable them to effectively reach out with the gospel to both Jews and Gentiles.
How one views eschatology, the doctrine of end-time events, determines, to a large extent, the rest of one’s theology.
Early in the author’s ministry, he determined to know the truth of God’s Word. He further determined that the Bible is verbally inerrant.
Thus, there are no contradictions in it. He came to understand that a true study of God’s Word entailed comparing scripture with scripture. Using that understanding, he came to the conclusion that we can know God’s mind with assurance (II Peter 1:19–20).
With so much confusion on the matter of the Rapture, he decided to search for the truth in this matter. “The Blessed Hope,” a small book, is the result of that long and extended search, which he had essentially boiled down to conclusions.
As a right understanding of this issue is important to how we view the rest of doctrine and to the quality of our Christian experience, this book is offered to help and bless the reader in his faith and walk.
