“In Abraham’s sacrifice of his son Isaac it took two separate types to complete the type. Isaac was a type of Christ as he was offered up by his father. But it took God’s miraculous provision of a ram to complete the type. The ram was both innocent and provided by God Himself. Isaac could not, in his death, fulfill the true type. Thus he was redeemed by the perfect and sinless ram which God, Himself, provided. Messiah was offered up by His Father as the perfect sinless “lamb of God.”

Author Reputation Press is honored to publish “Worship: An Awesome Journey of Faith” by Kenneth G. Symes. The author of this masterpiece understands that true worship of God is foundational for all Christian service and growth. Until one learns to worship God, one cannot understand his true identity and purpose nor find the secret to life itself. This book is now available on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and the ARP website.
The author, Kenneth G. Symes, B.A., S.T.M., was a pastor in Baltimore, MD, for almost twenty years before God called him into Jewish ministry in 1977. While in Baltimore, he cut his teeth in evangelism, preaching on the streets of East Baltimore.
For the past thirty years, while effectively reaching people with the Gospel, the author has worked with local churches to enable them to effectively reach out with the gospel to both Jews and Gentiles.
Before being called into Jewish ministries, Mr. Symes was a pastor for 20 years, cutting his teeth in evangelism through open-air street meetings and door-to-door evangelism while founding Fellowship Bible Baptist Church in the inner city of Baltimore.
After being called to Jewish ministries, he was instrumental in working with his Florida staff to build an effective local church-centered evangelistic outreach reaching both Jewish and Gentile people with the gospel.
He has been involved in Jewish ministries for almost 40 years and has authored and published four books and several booklets dealing with prophetic issues. He is a regular contributor to Israel’s Messenger, a publication of Jewish Awareness Ministries, with whom he still serves as a national field representative and missionary in central Florida.
Most Christians, when they think about worship, think of it in terms of a particular place with a group of people embodying music, public prayers, and preaching. However, the Bible’s definition of worship is far broader.
“Worship: An Awesome Journey of Faith” was written to assist the reader in understanding the biblical concept of worship and the applications this concept has on one’s daily walk. This study is based upon the Book of Leviticus which is the Jewish book of worship.
In the process of this study, we develop twelve principles of worship that must be applied in the believer’s life and are essential if he is to truly worship. The purpose of the book is to help the reader discover that worship is, indeed, an awesome journey of faith.
