Jason Dye, author of “Initium Novum: New Beginnings,” shared where he got the inspiration in writing this exciting sci-fi book in an interview with Benji Cole of CBS Radio.

Jason Dye served in the United States Army from 2001 to 2008 and participated in Operation Noble Eagle and Operation Iraqi Freedom. He then served an additional three years in the Missouri National Guard. He earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in social work from the University of Kansas in 2014.

He earned his clinical license in 2018. He also worked at the Department of Veterans Affairs, assisting his fellow brothers and sisters in arms. Jason has had a passion for writing for as long as he can remember. He currently lives in Lawrence, Kansas, with his wife and children.
