Carl L. Lansdown was born in Washington, D.C. He is a licensed and ordained minister and evangelist. He spent his time enjoying serving, teaching, and preaching the word of God. He currently lives in North Virginia with his lovely wife, Joy. They have a daughter, two sons, three grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
He was interviewed by Logan Crawford of Spotlight TV. The host of the program, Logan Crawford, is an Emmy Award-winning broadcaster and anchor host. He is also a host and anchor on Ebru, WWOR-TV, FOX, and VOOM: HD NEWS. He appeared in a number of films and television shows, including The Irishman (2019), The First Purge (2018), Teenage Mutant Ninja, 40-Love (2021), and many others.

“The Torch of Christ: Revised Edition” by Carl L. Lansdown is written to reveal the birth of the Lord Jesus Christ and His journey while living on earth. His journey was filled with many obstacles, persecutions, bigotry, hatred, and racism.
Because of His love for all mankind, Jesus was beaten, judged, betrayed, and hated which led Him to be put to death. However, before He was condemned to die, He chose twelve disciples to journey with Him as He laid down the road map for all to follow who believe in Him.
His Word—the truth—would be carried throughout the world. No matter what struggles or obstacles you have faced or may encounter, Jesus promised to never leave you, forsake you, or abandon you.
Jesus met the disciples on a mountain towards the end of His life’s journey before being raised up to heaven so that He could reside with God, His Father. Jesus explains to His chosen apostles, “Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you; and I am with you always to the end of age” (Matthew 28:19).
This is when Jesus passed the torch to light up the world. The torch of Christ is a tiny footprint of His life’s journey. Through His journey, people will understand why we must believe and accept Him to pass on His word.
