“T28: How Charlie, His Great-Great Grandfather, and Supermax Saved the World” talks about the story of Charlie, who lives in the year 2080 and is troubled as he listens to his parents, who are worried as they research an approaching storm. They have become alarmed as the storm is the worst ever.
Charlie’s parents have given him a supercomputer for the company, and Charlie and the supercomputer have become pals. As Charlie wonders aloud if anything can be done to mitigate the dangerous weather, his supercomputer pal, Supermax, suggests going back in time to when his great-great-grandfather was President of the United States and in a position to change the climate for the world and improve the weather.
As it highlights the subject of extreme weather, this illustrated narrative will undoubtedly stimulate the interest of grammar school-aged children. The narrative explains the fundamental science behind climate change. It’s also a science fiction story with elements of time travel and political intrigue.
