A Alex Come’ grew up poor in the foothills of the Adirondacks. Having served in the Marines, the Navy, the Army, and the National Guard and having toured Europe, Japan, Mexico, and Canada, he has developed a keen sense of storytelling.
He previously worked as a salesman, security officer, construction laborer, factory worker, ship titter, animal caretaker, firefighter, and paramedic and earned a degree in marketing management. He also earned an associate degree at Rice College. He writes in all genres and loves to create.
Alex always appreciates the joy of a good book or movie; for him, as it is for others, it is the great spotlight of the human imagination.
He currently lives just outside a small Indiana town with his wife of 32 years and enjoys long walks through the woods.
“We The Hunters” is a story set in Denver, Colorado, in 1878. A cold-blooded murder opens the gateway to Hell. US Deputy Marshal Tom Wade’s wife and two children were murdered and then burned inside the torched house. Wade buries their remains, has his cry, and then tosses his badge into the ashes.
Thus begins a determined hunt for the killers, believed to have been five. Based on suspicion, he tracks down one of them and beats a confession out of him. After gaining information concerning the remaining four, it is rumored that Wade then killed the man and set out tracking the others. Back in Denver, Chief US Marshal Arch Steinberge, Wade’s longtime friend and 15-year boss, finds himself fresh on the trail of his ex-deputy, and not without grave apprehension.
Emotions run high, and the dark power of blindsided rage lay heavy on the minds of both men. But deep inside Senior Marshal Steinberge, there lies a dire, personal unrest; when their paths cross, the law must override his heart.

The rich History of American West must never fade. For this reason, I have written three Western Novels, this book ‘We the Hunters’, ‘Labounty’ and soon coming into print, a third called ‘Tobie’. As it was with the great western writers Louis L’Amour and Zane Grey with their profound love of the American West, these books are my tribute toward keeping that love of American History alive, and forever reaching into the hearts and imagination of future generations.”
