“Killing Blue Eyes” by A. Alex Come’ was among the books displayed by Author Reputation Press during the Frankfurt Book Fair 2023 in Frankfurt, Germany, on October 18–22, 2023.
The Frankfurter Buchmesse, reportedly known as the world’s largest trade fair for books, opened its doors to participants around the globe celebrating books and their authors. The massive book fair also celebrated its 75th anniversary this year. Slovenia, their guest of honor this year, presented itself as a nation with a rich literary history in addition to being a desirable tourism destination.
It is the best platform for publishers and authors to engage with international audiences and share stories. This year, over 105,000 trade visitors from 130 countries and 110,000 audiences participated in this big event. This year attracted more visitors compared to last year when there were 93,000 trade visitors and 87,000 audiences. Over 2,600 activities were covered by more than 7,000 media professionals during the five days of the exhibition.
Author Reputation Press is dedicated to promoting literary connections between authors and readers. In line with this, ARP displayed several of its remarkable books at the largest book trade fair in the world. The book gallery was even more alluring because of the large variety of genres on exhibit.
The author, Alfred Alex Come’, has a rich military history of serving in the Armed Forces (Marine Corps, Navy, National Guard, and Army). He is a retired career firefighter and paramedic. He earned an associate degree at Rice College. He writes in all genres and loves to create. He met several people when he was still serving in the US Marine Corps, US Navy, National Guard, and Army Reserve. These people became an inspiration for the characters of his trilogy, “Killing Blue Eyes,” of which he has already released the second book, titled “Prey for the Abyss.” Also, some of the personalities and events in the book are based on his experience as a career firefighter and paramedic.
The psychology of human behavior (an especially intriguing subject to Come’), as well as historical events and a frequently desired, sometimes required, voyage into that frightening, adrenalin-packed area of the human brain known as the imagination, are eager to be opened, such as the “Killing Blue Eyes” books, which follow the reader right into the dark realms of fear, leaving them with little more than brief glimpses of light and the possibility of escape.

“Killing Blue Eyes” was among the books displayed by Author Reputation Press during the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books 2023 at the University of Southern California on April 22–23, 2023. The story is about a repulsive murder. The strange resurfacing of an ancient Biblical event and a perplexing, long-hidden-from-the-world threat mysteriously collide, bringing together an improbable team of dedicated law enforcers. Focused on the hunt for the elusive serial killer called “Blue Eyes,” the team quickly realizes this man, or whatever he is, not only proves resilient but also possesses a strong connection within the dark confines of the spiritual realm. And at the very center of it all stands Clayton Cooper, marshal of the small Indiana town of Brooke.
Cooper is taken by surprise and left bewildered when the world’s most formidable killer calls him personally as if they were old friends. Pursuant to the contact, the Marshal is visited by Special FBI Agent Bob Lemus, who informs him he has now become the agency’s most promising hope of ever capturing the cold-blooded killer—the FBI’s number one target and magically elusive psychopath known around the world as “Blue Eyes.”
