“Rising: The Irish Clans, Book Three in the Series” by Stephen Finlay Archer presents the 1916 Easter Rising, when the Irish Republican martyrs rise up against massive British forces to trigger a revolution, and the Clans’ quest for treasure and unity to uphold their predecessors’ Clans Pact.
This masterpiece was highly praised by Jack Chambers of the Hollywood Book Reviews, stating that “This is the perfect read for those who enjoy historical fiction, especially those who enjoy historical fiction set against the backdrop of war, and stories which explore Irish history, culture, and mythology all in one book. The look into the past of these Irish Clans and the way history has been defined by blood and bonds throughout the ages was remarkable to read, and the tension and atmosphere that were layered into the story allowed me to get lost in this story quite easily. If you haven’t yet, make sure you take the time to grab this remarkable story, and the series overall.”
Additionally, this book was highly praised by the Midwest Book Review, stating that “Between dangers on the waters to intrigue on shore, Archer juxtaposes disparate journeys of life and death and brings tension to a riveting new level as each character searches for answers, lives through atrocities, and uncovers answers to their personal and political conundrums.”
